Hanging Scales for Luggage and Parcel Weighing: A Buyer's Checklist
Capacity, hook, grip and power — what to compare when sourcing 50 kg hanging scales for travel, logistics and produce.

The 50 kg / 10 g standard
Most hanging scales in the catalog share one platform: a 50 kg maximum load with a 10 g display step. That covers checked luggage, parcels, produce sacks and small freight. Within that band, the differences are mechanical — how the scale attaches to the load and how it is held.
Hook, strap or grip handle
The DH-C023 uses a metal hook on a short chain with a round housing and a blue-backlit display. The DH-C025 pairs a long metal hook with a metal handle that doubles as the grip. The DH-C028 uses a wide grip handle and a buckle strap that reaches around bag handles. The DH-C030 adds an LED lamp and a built-in 102 cm tape measure - useful for parcel dimensions at the counter.
Units and display
Hanging-scale units track the market: the DH-C023 and DH-C025 list kg, lb, jin and oz, which suits Asian and export trade; the DH-C028 lists g, lb, oz and kg. Check the list against how your buyers quote freight weights.
Power and calibration
Two AAA batteries drive most of the line; the DH-C030 uses three. Ask for the tare procedure — hanging scales are often used with a bag or sling that must be zeroed out — and confirm the auto-off behaviour so a scale does not sleep mid-weighing.
Order planning for hanging scales
Carton counts in this line are 80 to 100 pieces, so a first order can be compact. Tell ZmoTek the application — travel retail, courier counter or produce trading — and we will shortlist models and confirm samples.
