Digital Scale Buying Guide: Five Product Lines for Importers
A practical overview of kitchen, jewelry, coffee, spoon and hanging scale lines — what each is for, and which specifications to compare first.

Start with the use case, not the model list
A scale catalog can look interchangeable at a glance: a platform, a display and a control panel. The differences that matter to an importer sit in three places - the capacity and readability the buyer needs, the units their market quotes in, and the packing data that decides landed cost. ZmoTek's five core lines draw on a 96-model PDF catalog; this guide explains what separates them.
Kitchen scales: precision and capacity in one line
The kitchen line spans compact precision models to large platforms. The DH-I200 reads 200 g to 1 kg in 0.01 g steps and up to 3 kg in 0.1 g, with nine units including g, gn, ozt, dwt and ct. The DH-C305 covers 3 kg to 10 kg with 0.1 g on the lower ranges and 1 g at 10 kg. The DH-A11 reaches 20 kg in 1 g steps with five units (g, kg, lb:oz, ml, fl:oz) — the wide-capacity option for bakery and food-service volume.
Jewelry scales: small capacity, fine steps, trade units
Pocket jewelry scales trade capacity for readability. The DH-333 reads 100 g and 200 g in 0.01 g steps with g, ct, tl and oz; the DH-A05 extends to 500 g at 0.01 g with seven units including ozt, dwt and gn; the DH-A07 reaches 1 kg while keeping 0.01 g; and the DH-958 adds a 500 g coarse mode at 0.1 g. All four target gem, bullion and counter weighing.
Coffee, spoon and hanging lines
Coffee scales pair 0.1 g readability with brew-oriented features: the DH-8702 covers 1 kg to 5 kg with a timer and USB charging; the DH-E70 adds a silicone draining mat; the DH-8705D splits the display into a detachable head showing flow rate. Spoon scales put 0.1 g dosing into a scoop format at 300 g or 500 g. Hanging scales cover 50 kg in 10 g steps for luggage, parcels and produce — the DH-C030 adds an LED lamp and a 102 cm tape measure.
What to compare before you shortlist
Line up four columns side by side: capacity and readability, the full unit set, product and carton dimensions, and power supply. A model that fits the shelf but ships 20 pieces per carton behaves very differently from one shipping 200. Tell us your market and shelf price band, and we will shortlist from the catalog and confirm samples.
