How to Choose a Digital Kitchen Scale for Your Market
Capacity ladders, unit sets, power options and packing details to check before ordering kitchen scales for retail or food-service ranges.

Start with capacity and readability
Kitchen scales split into three practical bands. Compact models around 3 to 5 kg read in 0.1 g steps and suit portion control; large platforms from 5 to 20 kg read in 1 g steps and cover meal-prep and bakery volume; specialty models reach 0.01 g for tasks that border on laboratory work. The DH-C305, for example, covers 3 kg to 10 kg, while the DH-A11 reaches 20 kg.
Match the unit set to your market
A scale that cannot display the units your customers cook with will stall on the shelf. Metric markets work with g and kg; North American ranges expect lb:oz; liquid measurements need ml and fl:oz. Our kitchen line carries configurable unit sets, from the five-mode g / kg / lb:oz / ml / fl:oz layout on the DH-A11 to the wider nine-mode set on the DH-C305.
Check power options and packing
Most models in the line run on two AAA batteries, with a USB charging version available for the same housing. Packing details decide landed cost: the DH-A11 ships 20 pieces per master carton of 39 x 34 x 27 cm, the DH-C305 30 pieces per carton of 53 x 39 x 23.5 cm. Confirm carton counts and gross weights before comparing quotations.
