The DH-456B trades the draft shield for capacity: 12 kg maximum load at 0.1 g, with 0.01 g readability on the 1 kg to 3 kg ranges. The 18 x 19.7 cm pan handles bulk samples, and RS232 output connects to a printer or terminal.

The 0.01 g band extends to 3 kg, which covers compounding, portioning and quality checks that need fine steps on heavier samples.
