Overview
The DH-456A is a precision balance with a glass draft shield and a 0.001 g readability band up to 600 g, plus 0.01 g ranges to 3 kg. It supports thirteen weighing units including three tael variants, and adds printing, alarm and RS232 output over the standard tare and zero functions.
Why a draft shield matters at 0.001 g
At milligram resolution, airflow can move the reading. The glass shield encloses the pan so the balance is less exposed to drafts during weighing.

The balance measures 31.6 x 21 x 30.8 cm with an 8 x 14 cm pan inside a 20 x 18 x 24 cm draft shield. Power comes from a built-in lithium battery with DC/AC input. Carton data is quoted per order.
